Two Latin acts are to join this year’s Shawnee Riverfest IV Roster, making this year the most diverse and cultural yet. “We are so excited by all the submissions that came in early this year to perform. The Roster is full, 5 months before the event, this shows the ever growing presence of this event in our community. This has allowed us to be more selective, offering our attendees top notch performances this year,” says Gil Coronado, of CILA llc Management, and Event Organizer. “I had been looking for the past 2 years for Latin acts to participate, and was enthusiastic when working with Natalia Segura, International Aussie Latina Singer, recently at the Latin Experience Supper Club,” says Coronado.

In addition to Natalia, we are thrilled to announce that The Roby Peralta 12 Piece Salsa Band has joined this roster in support of such a great cause, coming all the way from NY. This band is creating a set that will bring out the rhythm in all of us.

Shawnee Riverfest IV’S roster is also dominated by women performers, all incredibly talented, and yet all very different. Adriana Stigliano will perform music from her upcoming CD “In The Making”. Robin Smith, an accomplished performer and renowned singer/songwriter, is excited to take part in such a great event. “I am excited to be performing for the first time at Shawnee Riverfest. There’s nothing better than singing at an event that brings people together for a wonderful cause.” Back this year is Kendall Phillips of American Idol fame. She loves this region so much, she wrote a song about it “My Heart Belongs In The Poconos”. She will be performing with her touring band, with some of her popular originals.

Also back is the Shawnee Playhouse, with their cast of “Nunsense Jamboree”, a musical show that has been “Cheered by audiences and critics alike as funny and fast-paced, this hilarious hoe-down is NUNSENSE fun with a Laugh-In-Hee-Haw-Grand-Ole-Op’ry slant.” *

Mindsate will also be joining the roster again with their popular vocally rhythmic R & B set, with incredible verses, and the backing of the talented Lauren Davidson. Fusia Dance Company will bring back several dance numbers, that will entertain and inspire you. Francesca Marinaro, has honed the craft of talent in her youthful dancers of our community, and instilled a great sense of pride in the art of dance!

New artist this year is The Liz Nordstrom Band, who will perform many of original songs along with a wide variety of cover songs from Bob Dylan to Rascal Flatts. She is the youngest musical performer to grace the Shawnee Riverfest stage, and she is excited to be apart of this community event. Whether she’s using her rich, commanding voice to sing one of her originals or putting a twist to a cover tune, you always know it is Liz singing from her heart.

Also new to this year’s Shawnee Riverfest is Briggette Denise Scott, performing some originals, and uptempo covers, with an incredible vocal range that will sure to surprise the harshest critics. Also, back is DJ Ruby spinning the latest tunes, in between sets, to keep the flow of Riverfest going
